OMG! I actually agree with something Breitbart's editors saw fit to publish. I'm not loathe to admit it; I'm merely surprised the opportunity to do so has presented itself.

Of the below listed broken promises, the first one is the one that most irks me. Why? Because though I had no desired to see Trump be POTUS, since he did win, I would like to see him stick to both the letter and spirit of the promises he made that I thought were good things.

"Cleaning the swamp," were Trump to actually do so, has the potential of remediating the political process well beyond Trump's departure from it. Done right, such a thing could easily be a legacy achievement that outlasts every building on which the Trump name appears. As a legacy for Trump himself, it'd in value to the American people, lo democracy itself, outstrip anything any POTUS before him managed to achieve, save perhaps Lincoln in keeping the union united.

...Yes, and now that we do, corporations and other billionaires need not spend nearly as much money on lobbyists and influence peddling campaigns and activities.
