Nevada’s Democratic attorney general, Catherine Cortez Masto, is moving forward with a criminal prosecution of ACORN even though the financially anemic group has dissolved its national structure and reportedly slashed its workforce from 250 to four employees. Trial has been scheduled for Nov. 29.

The charges relate to ACORN’s crime of choice: voter registration fraud.

Ohio did that a long time ago with ACORN, given they were registering Mary Poppins.:lol::lol:

ACORN allegedly enforced voter registration quotas with its employees and offered bonuses for extra registrations. Nevada law forbids the use of such incentives on the theory it encourages canvassers to file fraudulent registrations. No wonder: ACORN and its election fraud subsidiary Project Vote, which used to employ President Obama, registers “Mickey Mouse” and various celebrities, out-of-state residents, and dead people, every election cycle.

If ACORN is convicted it would send shock waves through leftist organizing circles across the nation and might embolden more prosecutors to take on ACORN and similar groups. Until it was charged by Nevada last year, ACORN had boasted about its ability to duck prosecution for election fraud.

Breaking: Nevada To Press On With Criminal Prosecution of ACORN - Big Government

Ohio used to be rife with voter fraud (and I'm sure it still is given how Obama won in Ohio). I once watched as Democrats led a bus full of mentally handicapped people into my voting location to vote. ACORN was registering everyone from Mary Poppins to Mickey Mouse, and Democrats were fighting to allow provisional voting.

Provisional voting means you don't have to prove where you live. Your registration supposedly got lost in the mail and you can vote anyway and then they try to find your address later (yeah right) And with Democrats controlling that job, just how honest is that going to be.

Thanks to Ken Blackwell they lost that one. We know have to show our driver's license or some form of ID to vote. :D

Looks like Nevada is looking to clean up their act like the battle of Ohio in 2004.

Way to go Nevada. This is going to just make Liberals go nuts. They can't win with an honest vote. Just as the dead who voted for JFK.

:eusa_whistle:

Voter fraud isn't about who is registered, but who votes.

Every bogus registration was reported, according to the law, by Acorn itself.
They have never been convicted of voter fraud.

The handicapped can't vote? We let Republicans vote. They're handicapped.

Can anyone prove that Mickey Mouse or Paul Newman voted? Republicans must think they are "real" and "alive".

Does everything have to be explained?

If these people broke the laws they should face the consequences.

The trial will tell.

How many fake votes resulted from these actions even if it prooves true?

How about the everyday names, deeno? Like R. Dean, Rick Davidson, Dave Patterson, etc. Let's get real with the voter fraud.

there is no voter fraud, its a republican lie to cover for their OWN election cheating

Phony registrations is about flooding the polls so they can't weed out all of them.

It's SPECIFICALLY about voter fraud or states wouldn't be going after Acorn in state after state SPECIFICALLY about phony registrations.

Nice try, but that's a failed Acorn argument and it didn't work in Ohio either.

Not to liberals. That's policy!!!! ;)

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Where did any "liberal" say this should not be prosecuted?

EVERY DAMN DEMOCRAT IN MY STATE, THAT'S WHO!!!

They fought like hell for ACORN for years, trying to shield all these phony registrations and "provisional balloting."

The ONLY person who stood in Acorn's way was Republican Ken Blackwell. If it were not for him, we wouldn't have a voter ID requirement and Democrats HATE him for it.

My my This has been a bad bad week for the fraudsters. The left is having a meltdown. Can't wait til AZ prevails. Buy some stock in Prozac folks.

They are going to need it by the boatload come November.

;) (Lord willing) :D
