BTW, Iran claims huge areas of the Persian Gulf, and has been screaming they will sink any ships in their "Territorial Waters" for years now. Yet we and the rest of the world still ignore them. So once again, you apparently think it is rational to fire shots and drop bombs on a ship that strays a bit inside of what a nation claims is territorial waters.

Actually, yes there is. They are known as "Embeds", and are quite often part of the crew of just about any ship not actively in a war zone. We knew who the ones were on our Amphib ships in the 1980's, they routinely moved from ship to ship to catch stories of interest. Most times of a "local interest", like when they interviewed a guy I knew because his wife gave birth to a baby while we were at sea, and how he was looking forward to seeing them when he got home. It was filed with both the newspaper outside our base, and with his home town newspaper.

What I find fascinating in this, is that the Russians are claiming they not only fired shots at her, they also dropped bombs in front of her.

Russia on the other hand is repeating a play right out of the Hitler plan. Taking over chunks of territory, claiming it as being "theirs", and doing it a piece at a time, waiting for the uproar over one such chunk before taking over the other.

That bothers me much more, because they are actually taking over parts of other countries, not just "making land" as China is doing. China kills some coral and displaces some fish. Russia kills people and they have to submit to new masters, or flee with nothing but what they have on their back.

And since you see them as "Fascist", in your mind that seems to forgive anything that is done to them. Once again, your bias and propaganda is noticed. Why not just take over all of Ukraine, then? Is not like they have not done so before and killed millions of people.
