Nothing unusual, the brazilian president is just trying to look good to the Brazilian crowd... You know, the good old Anti americanism is a very reliable option for brazilian politicians trying to score some political points...

No, the entire BRICS sect is forming a cross trade alliance against us. This is part of a currency war that has been going on for a while now.

So in other words you partisan hackers do not get it.
Brazil isn't the only country that is sick of our trade war currency inflation policies.

This has been building for a while. Here is some perspective on it.

BRICS to end dollar rule and USA's supremacy

hmm...the US dollar is going to be engaged in a currency war against the likes the Real?

Perhaps someone can see the obvious flaw in this plan.

    Flaw?

The US is the one that provokes currency wars against trade partners. Not the other way around. Other countries are tired of being on the reactionary end of our terrible policies and have the clout to stalwart the US hegemony in financial markets. Read the article.
Point out the obvious flaw too if you actually see one.

Yes, there's a rather obvious flaw with the idea that Brazil, Russia and China would invoke a currency war against the United States.

When was the last time the US was engaged in a currency war with any developed country?
