    BP has a fiduciary responsibility to make sure its shareholders' money is not fraudulently disbursed.

    Unlike our government, they actually take this responsibility seriously. Apparently, you find this troubling. Says a lot about you.

    If claims are in fact cut in half, maybe it would make up for the actual fraud that has already been paid out.

    i agree they sould pay no more than necessary. the government really passed the buck, then they got really lucky like clinton, when he let bin laden go. and the way the dildos in the congress treated tony haward was despicable, when he wanted lis life back
