FactCheck.org is standing by their assessment that Mitt Romney did not actively manage Bain Capital after February 1999, despite today's Boston Globe report that he was CEO there until 2002.
"We see little new in the Globe piece. So far, nobody has shown that Romney was actually managing Bain even part-time during his time at the Olympics, or that he was anything but a passive, absentee owner during that time, as both Romney and Bain have long said," Brooks Jackson, a co-author of the FactCheck piece, told POLITICO today.

Boston Globe runs with a story today that was debunked by factcheck.org almost 2 weeks ago. How sad is that?
Late on July 1, the Obama campaign issued a formal objection to this article, claiming that Romney remained at least a “part time” manager of Bain after February 1999. We strongly disagree. ...
...
wow!!! they disagree?

Along with CNN, Fox News also reported originally that the individual mandate was struck down. Here's a screencap from The Huffington Post's Hunter Stuart of their conflicting reports just minutes apart:

Maybe if Romney vows not to send any more American jobs to China and not to lie about retiring from a company he still owned he would be OK? Who among us has not outsourced jobs to China or fibbed a little bit about retiring from a company worth billions?
Obama somehow was worth 12 million dollars in 2010 and still, supposedly, 8-10 million now. How is that possible being the "public servant" he's been his whole life?
Pretty good for a Junior US Senator who worked for a magazine for 18 months.

Romney has never claimed he Retired and had no stake in Bain at all. He said he was not managing or taking part in any Decisions the Company made after 99, and NOBODY has proven that to be false.

Except if that's true..he gave false information to the SEC.
That's a felony.
