Really?
So let's get this straight. Nixon torpedoed a peace settlement in Vietnam that would have ended the war in 1968. He engaged in an illegal bombing of Cambodia, spied on Americans illegally, took bribes, and eventually was forced to resign his office, but not before thousand of additional Americans and millions of Vietnamese had died.
But that Hippy broad! Man, we need to totally get her!
But, but somebody else did something bad too.
No someone else did something truly horrible, and you are going on about someone who did somethng minor.
No one died because of what Dorn did. She did some property damage and had the terminity to point out that Vietnam was a horrible idea, which everyone agrees that it was.
Nixon- who did actually do a lot of good things - took actions that resulted in millions of deaths.
Now I'm not going to have this thread dissolve into an anti Vietnam war rant by you. That's trolling. I'm sick of it.
The WU were revolutionaries dedicated to taking over the government. This is well documented. Bernie and Billy state quite clearly in Prairie Fire that they wished to join with the Vietcong and others in overthrowing imperialism world wide.
But staying within certain parameters I would like to know how you would feel about group of anti abortion protestors that set their minds to blowing up every abortion clinic in America you would consider this form of protest minor?
As long as no one was hurt?
But those protestors would have every right to express their views with bombs?
