Now I am not going to take any grief for the link to the Daily Caller. Wooten's report is at my link as well. Additionally so is the link to the WSJ.

These bastards provoked the stand off. Sons of bitches even had a kill list of people who committed suicide while under investigation.

"Wooten’s 18-page report discussed some of what he witnessed during his three-year investigation, such as a BLM agent’s “kill list” featuring people who had committed suicide while under investigation by the agency, BLM agents and officials referring to the Bundys as “retards” and “douche bags,” agents bragging about “grinding” a Bundy family member’s face into gravel, and lead prosecutor and Nevada’s acting U.S. Attorney Steve Myhre’s “preferred ignorance” of investigation details that would benefit the Bundys’ defense case.

Former Special Agent Dan Love, who was in charge of impounding Cliven Bundy’s cattle in 2014, conducted “the most intrusive, oppressive, large scale and militaristic trespass cattle impound possible” against Bundy’s ranch against the direction of the U.S. attorney’s office, according to Wooten. The Bundys’ defense strategy accuses the BLM of using overly-aggressive and threatening tactics.

Navarro has ruled that Myhre’s prosecution team has committed numerous Brady Act violations failing to turn over exculpatory evidence, evidence that may exonerate the Bundys. In light of the violations and Wooten’s memo, Navarro sent the jury home last week as she considers ruling a mistrial or dismissing the case."

Federal agents provoked a showdown with Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy that might have turned deadly, according to a former government investigator assigned to examine the 2014 armed standoff.

REPORT: Fed Agency Committed ‘Militaristic’ Operation Against Nevada Rancher

Well, there are some things to consider. First of all, every damned agency breaks out the military equipment at every opportunity. The Department of Education breaks out the vests and automatic rifles when searching for someone who hasn’t paid back their student loans.

ICE broke out the gear when raiding an automobile repair shop to find a guy named Hernandez.

Claiming ICE Detained Him Because Of 'Latino Appearance,' ACLU Files Motion To Prevent Deportation Of Mechanic

Yeah, because they have things like wrenches and screwdrivers right? Come on man.

Now I’m not saying they shouldn’t have found this Hernandez. But really? They needed vests and rifles and all that crap?

BLM just joined in on the fun. The crap is available, and it is use it or lose it to the dolts in the departments. If they have it, and don’t use it, then someone may decide they don’t need it. So when they get it, they claim it is because they may need it in the most dangerous situations. Then they use it every single time, and argue that the situation could be dangerous. Right.

Remember this case that was seriously over the top because of a yahoo sheriff who had it out for this poor family? And bear in mind you get into a pissing contest with the law in small communities they get a hard on big time to come after you.

"What do you say to a drone that makes an arrest?

"Book him, Predator?"

This was no joke for a North Dakota family who were arrested with the assistance of a Predator drone. Rodney Brossart was sentenced to three years in prison, of which all but six months was suspended, for a June 2011 incident in which police attempted to arrest him over his failure to return three cows from a neighboring farm that had strayed on to his property.

After Brossart was arrested, an armed standoff ensued between his three sons and a SWAT team. His sons were located by a border-surveillance Predator borrowed from Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), which enabled local police to safely apprehend them, according to local newspapers."
