And if not what other nation gets to have jurisdiction on American soil? To whom to do you want to give away this nation's sovereignty?
United Kingdom has jurisdiction over what their citizens do worldwide.So other nations have jurisdiction over people in the US? They can just come in and do with them as they please on American soil?
But, of course, the Kingdom must get the citizen back on its soil to subject the citizen to the law.
If an American commits an act of murder on the high seas, the US has jurisdiction but must have the citizen on American soil to exercise jurisdiction.
