About time a billionaire using his mouth were his money is and doing good, not just spreading false information, Like Asshole Tom Steyer.

Billionaire's climate-change fight includes Wyoming research

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A British billionaire who’s a major contributor to environmental causes, including fighting climate change, will fund carbon-capture research in Wyoming, the top U.S. coal-mining state.

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon and Carbontech Labs announced Thursday they’re providing $1.25 million to help researchers find ways to turn greenhouse-gas emissions from coal-fired power plants into products that can be sold for a profit.

“One of the opportunities here, from a policy standpoint I think, is what is really, truly going to remove carbon from our atmosphere?” said Gordon, a Republican.

The lab out here is studying ways to re-hydrate CO2 into fuel again and allow us to use it over and over again... Its actually an innovative technology that will allow us long term space flight, not to mention that it will allow us to use all of our resources and reduce how much of them we use. IF it works, it will revolutionize fossil fuel use. Capture systems could actually keep you gas tank full with a loss of just 10% per cycle theorized. The problem is the energy consumption to make it work.

As long as it doesn’t involve taxpayer money.
Its being paid for out of Energy Company revenues into our state. Its coming our of our schools budget.

One of the big pushes is the capture of CO2 and use in hydroponic systems for food growth. IE; long term space flight needs. So far they are having a real hard time making the fuel cycler work and its massive energy requirements currently make it impractical.

Disney World has a system they've been running since the mid-70s that cycles water used in hydroponics through fish tanks raising tilapia, catfish and bass. Each provides nutrients used by the other. The system produces 5,000 pounds of fish fed to Disney World guests throughout all the parks.

Privately funded research is exactly the way we should be researching this.

Perhaps we should tax that 1%'er until he can't afford to do research any longer.

After all, he didn't earn those Billions of dollars.

I don't think Disney has done a lot of research.beyond how to hide lines of people.
