I would agree with that assessment. Powell probably wants to set the record straight for as many people as possible. He asked to come back. I think he and Bill have a mutual admiration and enjoy commiserating. Their vision for America, is widely different however and it was good seeing them conduct a civil discourse.

General Powell has always been a Moderate republican in my opinion.

Possibly. But I question his total flip flop. Be he far right or middle of the road to support Obama once out of HOPE was one thing. But to support him again once his track record was known is totally transparent. Add to that that McCain is also a moderate so his ditching of McCain is completely baffling if you consider Powell a moderate.
