How about we just lock them all up on the principle that they probably committed some crime or other to end up where they are now?

Seriously though, Sarbanes-Oxley has teeth and a whole bunch of execs bailed out rather than face the consequences. What we need is the equivalent for the Wall Street Casino bosses who are hawking junk under the guise of it being genuine. Anywhere else you are held accountable but the SEC has no teeth. Same thing with politicians. Their portfolios grow because they know in advance which stocks to buy and sell but they are "shielded" by a BS "firewall". Anyone who runs for office should have their portfolio converted to treasury bonds only for the duration that they serve.
