Nothing looks better on a man than Black Tie.

And, "Nobody Does It Better" than James Bond.

Below is an article showing examples of every "Black Time Moment" from all the Bond films going back to 1962's "Dr No".

What are your favorites?

My first place is Daniel Craig in The "Casino Royale", peak lapel, single button, no vent, black wool.

2nd Place goes to Sean Connery in "From Russia With Love", shawl lapel, single button, black wool.

Honorary mention to "Goldfinger", ivory jacket, peak collar, with pearl button and shirt studs.

Last PLACE: George Lazenby, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", ruffled shirt ... my heavens, the '70s sucked!

I never understood the bow tie, so I had to look it up...

My favorite bow tie quote ...

"But perhaps most of all, wearing a bow tie is a way of broadcasting an aggressive lack of concern for what other people think."

I own a lot of suits and wear a tuxedo every chance I get.

I despise ties. I have an OCD about them. Can't stand anything around my neck.

I don't see whats so stylish about a piece of cloth created to hide buttons on a shirt. If you're THAT offended by buttons, then wear tunics or ponchos!!
