I was happy to hear Bernie Sanders was entering the 2016 Presidential race. The true left-wing progressives needed a viable candidate to carry their message. Hilary is far too conservative for the liberal left, pretty much a racist as well. The Clintons and Bushs are tight, Hilary was a Goldwater Girl... Bernie is a self-proclaimed Socialist... Hooray for Progressives!

Now it will be interesting to see if true left-wingers stick to their convictions and nominate the candidate who reflects their views or if they go with the Clinton Machine. I have a feeling we'll get to see their inner hypocrite come out!

Why doesn't the left get some real choices, get somebody like Evan Bayh to run. Sanders and Clinton are horrible choices

The Dems want to win....I would take Bernie in a heartbeat but I don't see him winning.
Then the door is open for Jeb, who is 10X Hillary. Too big of a risk.

Sanders has a Ron Paul type of appeal to the Democrats. He has a loud and loyal base, but it's too small to do damage.

I wonder if this is not orchestrated by the Clintons. Having the radical liberal run as her opposition lets her appear to be a more reasonable 'centrist' choice.

...and here's another thing... What about Joe Biden? I mean, he should be the 'next in line' by virtue of his VP status for 8 years. Why are there absolutely NO democrats talking about Joe?

No way. Primaries are always about appealing to the far side of the isle and then race back to the middle for the general.

Nevertheless, I don't see how another Republican can ever win. The electoral votes don't match up. Bush's wins were both by a hair. A Republican has zero margin of error and that might not be enough
