The lady who asks the question provides what she claims to be the "definition" of "socialism" as "just a society agreeing to work together and combining their resources to make sure that everyone is protected and taken care of".

I see. How nice. How could anyone have a problem with something so nice!

Well, that may be the definition of socialism for an eight year old child, but it's not the ACTUAL definition, which is a bit closer to "government control of all means of production and distribution." And of course, Sanders made no effort to correct her, because her version is so soft and simple and warm and cuddly, even if it is wrong. Not unlike his "Medicare for All" lie.

We don't communicate like adults any more because our wingers refuse to be honest (the Right also comically over-simplifies this issue). How is anything supposed to improve under these conditions? Have we lost the capacity for critical thought?
