Eliminate the Free market... what a moronic answer Goldierocks.. You truly are a fool.
The free market has no answer for when Grandma is 80 and gets her third cancer diagnosis. God love the free market but it's not the answer to every question.
Actually, that is what a catastrophic policy is for. Remove state lines so that risk pools are huge not very small and it is very doable.. IF you do the math..
It is a lie to say that capitalism has an answer. It doesn't (and most are smart enough to know it or about to find out). When there is no policy you can buy or you can't afford it, capitalism has no answer. BTW, it was never supposed to. That, like faith and having, teaching, and raising children isn't its fucking job. It makes (and fixes) iPhones not Grandma's breast cancer. One is about making a profit and one never should have been allowed to be. That we can fix, and will.

We need single-payer.
Fuck you and your single payer.. Socialist bull shit.. James Town had single payer and they abandoned it because the town was starving to death... And you idiots want to go back to it..
That wasn't single-payer healthcare, which just means everyone is covered not who you can get healthcare from. And that fell apart because humans (Christians) are selfish little mindless pricks like you. In capitalism (unlike socialism) money and selfishness go together like bread and butter. That's why it works so when when your population has the morals of hungry snakes.
Under socialism every one suffers... its has failed every time it is tried. Atheist pricks like you think that god and charitable giving by churches to take care of the old and infirm is an abomination.. Yet you would force others to pay regardless rather than have them freely give from their excess..

Lying idiot.. You hate Christianity because it cares for its own.. And that proves your socialist lie a deception.

You know absolutely nothing of socialism (or capitalism obviously). You are a mindless drone repeating what you've been told - capitalism = good, everything else = bad.

I hate all religion and you are the one who pointed out that even Christian Socialism doesn't work because people (regardless of their faith) are selfish assholes like you. I wouldn't call that "taking care of each other".

Socialism works if your population aren't assholes, like Americans.

Risk pools are socialist ideals.

Socialism, or socialist ideals?

We need single-payer.
Yeah, that's what we need, govt bureaucrats running things. The govt can f@#$ up anything.
r

You're half right. The reason we are in this predicament is Reagan deregulated the bipartisan HMO Act. Where you are wrong is that single-payer would be Administrated by a private non-profit company.

A private non-profit company? Now there is an oxymoron for you!
We have tons of them.

Otherwise known as the only reason any form of (non-governmental) insurance is economically viable, but let's not let that little fact inconvenience this profound debate. 1%er here would like to run the only insurance company in America that always loses money, on every policy it issues.

I've never stated that non-government insurance isn't economically viable. What I have stated is the system that is in place today is greed driven, where we have insurance companies owning or deriving profit from +90% of providers. You as an insured are paying the company store.

I guess liberals do not know the difference in an organization and a company.

BCBS / ATENA among the group of 30 insurers Leaving Obamacare exchanges this year. 35 million to be without insurance..

Told you folks this was coming... Google the "leaving Obamacare exchanges" and came up with over 30 companies leaving this year. 29 states will not have even one insurer leaving over 35 million without insurance.

I told you all it was coming and here it is...

Blue Cross Blue Shield Pulls Out Of State Exchange

More Insurance Companies Exit Obamacare Exchanges

Obamacare Imploding...

Is it so hard to do at least basic fact checking before you post this junk?

The Current 2016 enrollment numbers: The current enrollment numbers (as of February 2016) are roughly 12.7 million in the marketplace

ObamaCare Enrollment Numbers

But as to a serious point here: IT IS CURRENTLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR INSURANCE COMPANIES TO PLAN FOR NEXT YEAR, because no one knows wtf Republicans are going to do about Obamacare in the next 6 months, including Republicans themselves.

Even companies that turned profits in exchanges CAN'T have a plan for next year due to the total market uncertainty:

“No business that wants to stay in business can make a promise about 2018 under the current situation,” Ceci Connolly, president and CEO of the Alliance of Community Health Plans, said. “It's just impossible to guess in the total darkness.”

Insurers won't commit to 2018 exchanges until they know ACA's future - Modern Healthcare Modern Healthcare business news, research, data and events

So here is an idea for you Republicans - STFU ABOUT MARKET FAILING, BECAUSE YOU ARE THE ONES FAILING IT.
