Bashing Beck

I got this, in my e-mail, from Media Matters today.


I expect them to hammer Beck at every turn.


That's fine. He's a bit "over-the -top" for my tastes.




This is their list of their gripes against goofy-Glen.

Here are just a few of the low points of Becks past year and a half:

• Hijacking the civil rights movement and saying he is going to "reclaim" it.
• Attacking President Obama as a "racist" who has "a real problem with white people."
• Going after Obama's family, including his daughter Malia.
• Fearmongering in ways that help shady advertisers sell their products.
• Knitting issues like climate change, net neutrality and immigration into vast socialist or criminal conspiracies.

I've omitted the second one because it;s the one that I don't understand the downside to it.

**Attempting to rescue the legacy of Joe McCarthy and kicking off his own hunt for "communists" in government.**

What, exactly, is so wrong with doing that?
Why would Media Matters not want him to point these people out?

I completely understand that about MM.
That's why I subscribe to them.....so I can glean some insight to the current "talking points".

I just can't fathom what is so bad about exposing communism.

They've been trying to rehab commies since at least Stalin.

Note you don't hear any progressive/Fabian Americans snorting at the ridiculous propositions that Cuba has the best health care in the western hemisphere and a 100% literacy rate, outraged at Hugo Chavez's outright stealing the property of oil American companies, pointing out that Stalin and Mao massacred on the order of ten times the innocent civilians that Hitler did, and proudly wear Che Guevera tee shirts.

In their little world, murderous communist tyrants are merely misunderstood.
