It took 4 days to hit American media.

It seems that it may have been even more chaotic, but maybe Said1 or PE can translate?

The gang of between 20 and 30 youths boarded the train, heading from Nice on the French Riviera to Lyon, in eastern France, early on Jan. 1, as it carried 600 passengers home from New Year's Eve partying overnight.

There really must be more to this story since it says only one had a knife. It doesn't say that anyone fought back, with it being 30 to 1 against the attackers???? My husband would have been :spank3: :spank3:

Don't know exactly how it's happened, but they were probably in one wagon, not full, more numerous than the others (some numbers say they were about 60...).

A lot are now arrested. The most part are known by the police services.

Nicolas Sarkozy announced that 1500 policemen will be brought to the SNCF's service. and the territorial competence of these policemen will be extended.
