It's amazing how far partisan hackery goes. No issue is spared.

This has nothing to do with left vs right, it is a question of future vs now. If the US government is increasing debt limit and ADMITTING they can't pay it down without getting more debt, the time is running out. Beyond me who would fund the debt anyway after such statements, not me for certain. The idea seems to be that FED monetizes it and how leftist is it exactly to impose the most regressive tax there is? Can you tell me that?

I would personally pick enforcing the debt limit. Just my personal preference.

Obama himself voted against it in 2006, when questioned about it he stated he was only politically motivated back then. This is circular logic. Before damning the other party perhaps you should look at your own which is - the same party basically.
