bachmann shut down

She is the hottest 55 year old lady in the country.
GOD must have though so - he called her!

Yanno........they said the same thing about Palin.

The GOP has to stop choosing people on how they look, and choose people who actually are capable of cogent, rational thought.
GOD doesn't have a good "track record" when it comes to selecting Republican/Tea Party candidates "capable of cogent, rational thought" to be president in America!

Every time that woman opens her mouth the news cameras flock around, her 15 minutes were over long ago. The only reason that she is still a national figure is that she is one of the few who can still push the pro-corporate dogma with a sincere face, botox helps I suppose. It's not like she was about to say anything of interest but if being disruptive is the only way to get some equal time then by all means continue.

I am likely creating a tanget for this question, but I have to ask:

What exactly pro-corporate dogma? How do you define it?

Trickle down, Reaganomics, deregulation, voodoo BS, you know what I meant.

And how would I know what you meant? As flattered as I am that you might consider that I read minds, I really don't. Nor do I understand the demonizing of corporations. I find nothing logical about it. How on earth would I be able to determine what you mean when you use your unique vocabulary in your quest to vanquish the corporation?

Thanks for clarifying that.

But you still have nothing.
ok... what should I have?

You should have kept your snide remarks to yourself.

The left was outraged over the shouting down of congressmen during the townhall's so they should have been just as outraged over the shouting down of Bachmann. The fact that they are not shows their hypocrisy.
pay backs' a bitch
still does not answer my question ,if I have nothing ,what should I have?

Ive heard her speak and I would never shout her down. Not because i like listening to her. She grates sometimes. Nor because I always agree with her. I don't. But because This is the United States of America. She has the right to speak freely. And it would be incredibly rude and uncivilized to try to shout her down and silence her.

This nation was built on dialogue with one another. Apparently, you dont like that. I'm sorry you feel that way. But I can assure you that allowing others to speak, even if you disagree with them makes this world a better place. I would ask you to consider how you would feel if someone shouted you down or tried to silence you. Is that really that kind of society you want to live in?
rudeness is not illegal ..the right to free speech does not include a clause that states "the speaker must have silence" you also seem to forget that her rights end where other people's begin.

Which is precisely why if we want to have freedom of speech we need to have civility and be courteous. Because their rights, likewise, end where her's begin.

Of course, if you don't really care about freedom of speech, then you can be as rude as you'd like.
another bogus ASSumption. the British Parliament is the rudest governing body I've ever seen. doesn't seem to impair their freedom of speech

You had nothing, so you should have said nothing.

I actually expected an intelligent response. But I should have known better. Intelligence from a liberal is a rare thing indeed.

dodge! deflection.

I guess it is alright when the tea party shuts up democrats, but not alright when the OWS shuts up a Tea Party member. Got it.

Free Speech is dead with today's Socialists/Progressives. These are not classic Liberals we've seen in the past. Real Liberals valued Free Speech and fought for it. These people are radicalized Socialists/Progressives. The Democratic Party has gone over the cliff with these nutters. I feel bad for Bachmann. This wasn't right.

It seems it was dead with Tea Party members at Town Hall meetings.

How does it feel to be a hypocrite?
Her tea party got the chance to talk, now it is the OWS turn. That is what you people have a problem with. ;)
