He really wasn't in for 4 years. The actual working days he logged as a Senator while the Senate was in session was a total of 143 days or two years until he started campaigning. That's it.

I have not bothered to look into how many exact days it was in session when Obama was a senator, And frankly I don't give a fuck. He missed far more votes than Bachman, so my point stands, where was the concern and out rage from the left when they were electing a man who missed more votes than Bachman?
