But Obummer put 2008 in the wedding book of Prince william .. Kinda the same thing. Ya know .

You've really gotta wonder about Bachmann's staff, I mean........

Before making her pitch for the Republican presidential nomination in Spartanburg, S.C., on Tuesday Representative Michele Bachmann paused to show some respect.

“Let’s all say, ‘Happy Birthday’ to Elvis Presley today,” Mrs. Bachmann said, noting that his version of the song “Promised Land” had been part of her pre-speech soundtrack (and, as she said in June, his Christmas album is on her iPod).

“You can’t do better than Elvis Presley,” she added.

However, the crowds at Graceland were not carrying birthday candles at a midnight gathering, but white tapers: holding vigil on the 34th anniversary of the King of Rock and Roll’s death.

You'd think they'd check her facts better for her and not allow her to make such a gaffe.

That particular gaffe was on a tour of Westminster Abbey. The Obama's weren't invited to Prince William's wedding.

I mean shit.......even I know when he was born and when he died. But then again, I was stationed in Memphis for 4 years and my ex wife was an Elvis freak.

Actually, when I was there from 1986 until 1990, it was the Naval Air Technical Training Center for the Navy. All people who studied aviation rates went there with the exception of Parachute Rigger, they were in Pensacola. Around the mid 90's, NATTC sent ALL schools to the base in Pensacola.

Try again.........the Navy DOES have shore stations. Shit, we've even got a detachment over in Oklahoma City.
