    Army to Call Up Retired, Discharged Troops

    WASHINGTON - The Army is preparing to notify about 5,600 retired and discharged soldiers who are not members of the National Guard or Reserve that they will be involuntarily recalled to active duty for possible service in Iraq or Afghanistan, Army officials said Tuesday

    I tried right after 9/11. When I got out, the AF and I had a disagreement and the tagged my DD214 with an unkind flag. AF woldn't take me, so I went and talked with the ARmy. They were willing to waive my age, but not the flag.

    Gee, maybe I'll try again.
