Genetic weapons could kill only the people you hate

Something I can't rule out is since HIV first showed up during an ultra conservative administration with the Christian Reich leading the way, is it possible it was engineered specifically to wipe out the LGBT population?

If genetic weapons are possible, as they are, and there IS afterall a gay gene, how long before someone makes a genetic disorder that wipes us out completely?

You are closer to the truth than you think. No, there is not and can never be a "gay gene," but if there were...

...and it could be detected through amniosentethis (sp?)...

...the gay population would die out completely within a couple generations.

Parents would abort a gay kid, just as they do now a kid with Down's Syndrome.
