Shares of Apple's stock closed at an all-time high Monday, riding a post-earnings rally and a more favourable outlook on Wall Street.

Apple closed at US$133.29 a share, surpassing its record closing high price of US$133, set in February 2015.

Apple’s stock has risen nearly 10 per cent since the close on January 31, when Apple reported quarterly earnings.

To be sure, Apple was still one of the most successful American companies ever during that time period, especially to those that remember Apple's 1982 record low of 20 cents per share.

U.S. markets hit a record high across the board on Monday, pushing Apple within $1 of a new all-time intraday share price.

Despite nearing record-high share prices, Apple isn't quite as close to beating its all-time high market capitalization, since market value is determined by stock price multiplied by shares outstanding.

The morons at Apple need to figure out how to get their cash back and out of the foreign tax havens where they have stuck it, where it is currently stuck.

Much of the Apple gain seems attributable to the leaks about iPhone 8 - especially the wireless charging. Now somebody needs to come up with a smartphone with an explosion-proof case.

There could be recalls in Apple phones if there is a fire, the same as Samsung Galaxy Note 7. That makes sense, right?
