Any Russian action in Syria against ISIS will be in accordance with Intl. law, Putin says

Yeah go Russia, Iran, Al Qaeda, and Hezbollah! You can do it!

Take AQ out of there. Fighting with Al Nusra.
Al Qaeda declared war on ISIS. Haven't you heard?

ISIS is AL QAEDA with another name!

where have you been? under a mushroom??
Al-Qaeda Leader Declares War Against ISIS

Are you conservatives shocked to be finding out that some things aren't black and white?
This isn´t war on terror. Islamist terrorists fighting Islamist terrorists for competing caliphates does not make them good guys.
None of them are good guys.

Sure they are. All those fighting the scum the West has sent to Syria to bring death and destruction are the good guys.

I guess we agree that the U.S. needs to have as little to do with that war as possible.

If the US would maintain good intentions, they would be welcomed by the Syrians. Many Americans think those who oppose US foreign policy are anti-American. Neither the Syrians nor their government are anti-American. They ain´t enemies of America. Its just that the US government became an enemy to them by its own decision when it imposed sanctions on the Syrian people and tried to overthrow their government.

And Assad has recently armed Al Qaeda. What fun.
Why should Assad arm his major opponent besides ISIS? Can´t you forbear from spreading nonsense for just one day? it is your government that has created and armed al-Qaeda.
Is Al Nusra not part of and allied with Al Qaeda?
Yes. And they lead the "rebellion" against the Syrian government. So why should the government arm them?
Ah I mistook an article of them being armed by the rebels for the army. Though I wonder why al Qaeda declared war on ISIS if they have a mutual enemy. Maybe they just hate everybody.

The Iran deal was a first step towards improving relations with the middle east. Obama was elected based on a promise to not involve us in the middle east. His biggest failing is that he meddled in the middle east. He listened to our crusaders instead of the people that elected him.

It is an US, President-overlapping, policy. It has little to do with Obama in the end. However, the failure to reach the goals may have changed the new policy already.

Putin is correct in saying that the current deadly instability in the Middle East is due to the US interference and crazy desire to overthrow previously stable areas in favor of their mad Utopian rush to install democracy, which resulted in the Arab spring and the current wave of terrorism.

Obama's fight against ISIS has been a complete joke and has had no real results apart from destroying the occasional truck at the cost of billions of dollars.

Hopefully Putin will take the fight against Islamic State seriously by taking proper meaningful ,aggressive action.

Show Barry from Honolulu how things get done!
Yeah go Russia, Iran, Al Qaeda, and Hezbollah! You can do it!

Actually, Russia, Iran and Hezbollah are fighting against Al Qaeda and ISIS.

True. But Al Qaeda is also fighting ISIS. Look it up.

So, the U.S. is supporting Al Qaeda?

Some republicans are.

IMO, the U.S. shouldn't be supporting ANYONE over there. There are no good guys, just religious lunatics and opportunistic powers.

Look .....blabber all you want.

It's ok now.

Hopefully Russia will take action.
Yeah it'll be nice to have at least one radical group wiped out if they succeed. Just remember to keep in mind you are also rooting for the success of Iran, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, and a ruthless dictator in Assad.

Not necessarily. Putin and Bibi were shaking hands not many days ago!

Iran and Hezbollah is another story.
So? Russia and Iran are coordinating attacks, and Russia just armed Hezbollah with guns, tanks, and ammo a couple days ago. As they've been arming Iran for decades.

And Assad has recently armed Al Qaeda. What fun.

Moshe Ya’alon, Israel's Defense Minister said - "Netanyahu told Putin that Israel had no interest in trying to depose the Bashar Assad regime, an ally of Russia.

“We are not involved and we don’t have any interest to intervene in the civil war in Syria, but we have to keep our interests,” he said Netanyahu told the Russian leader.

“Whoever tries to violate our sovereignty, we’ll strike them, whoever tried to transfer advanced armaments to terrorist groups, particularly Hezbollah, we’ll strike them, and whoever tries to transfer chemical weapons to terrorist groups, or Hezbollah, we’ll strike them,” Ya’alon said."

That, so nobody should get any ideas that Hezbollah is going to be allowed to take advantage of the situation.

I am so upset with Obama over this. The pretense of trying to take out ISIS when what he has been doing is trying to take out Assad. Trump right again, let Putin take care of it.

We need to really distance ourselves from Israel. They are bad news.

Do the various Bunds in the U.S. tell their skinhead members that if they post on forums, it is mandatory that they drag in Israel and say something derogatory?

Well if Americans are going to try to claim some type of moral authority over the rest of the world then we should damn well be supporting the elimination of terrorism instead of fomenting it. The rest of the world doesn't view the Middle Eastern terrorist problem thru the lens of US politics and neither should we as Americans. It's time to wake up and see that America exports terrorism to foreign lands in order to achieve policy objectives, to which the branding of the terrorist group is irrelevant. It's not a republican thing and it's not a democrat thing......it's an American thing and I find it entirely disgusting.
