Looking for ideas on my next good read. I especially like political-military-intelligence thrillers but open to crime and sci-fi as well. I will start this off with my own recommendation. I just finished a newly released book I found on Kindle, "Gods of Redemption." Great book with a great story involving a global hunt for a terrorist leader. Very believable and exciting -- and definitely not the fantasy James bond type garbage with a weak story line you often find on the market. It was like watching a great movie. I'm also half way through the non-fiction "The Lost City of Z". Another good recommendation.

Give me your ideas for my next one?

I have already read "Killing the Rising Sun." That is indeed a good read. Another good book on WWII in the Pacific is "Ghost Soldiers" by Hampton Sides. It has been out for a few years but it's a great true story about our US POWS of the Japanese in the Philippines and their rescue by Army rangers.
