This is soooooo awesome. The Dems lose like nothing that has happened in 60+ years... and it is "anti Teaparty".
Absolutely hilarious.

Come Soggy, I can hardly be considered a Democrat!
My point is Karl Rove is right considering electability in some states is very important!
The tea party is going to sink the R majority, wait and see.
This election ended up being much more than just a mid term shift. With the shift of parties in the Gov. races to the Congressional races, even in the Senate races, it was a referendum of the Obama agenda....no mistake about that.
no different than 2006 and 2008.
don't make more of it than it is. and if the loons try to shut down the government, they'll go the way of newt's contract on america.
Actually, it took two elections to get where they were, Jillian. Those two elections were a referendum on Bush, agreed. But, it's been before my lifetime to see a shift of this magnatude in just one election.
Now, the republicans will have to walk the walk...no doubt. I'm hoping there isn't a party of "no", and some progress will be made in the right direction.

they weren't just a referendum on bush. they were a referendum on repub policies. how you all convinced people that those failed policies should be in place again is another issue. but the 'ihopehefails' thing has been pretty effective since jan 2008.
this was the stupidest election in my lifetime....nastier than anything i've ever seen.
really... running on the dems not creating jobs when the repubs created FEWER jobs?
voting for people who say there shouldn't have been a civil rights act??

I understand what you mean, B. Kidd, but if we go to letting the party pass a "reasonable" test, then we start dictating the people's will in the primaries.
