But, imo, it's a complex issue that engages people's emotions. Does Bibi's party and the IDF conduct ethnic cleansing? Hell yah. Bibi's been willing to accept Hamas for cover in not having borders Israel has to stay behind.

But mainly the US support for Hamas is really among those too young to recall Israel's peace offers in both the Oslo Accords and finally at Camp David in 1998, when the Pales rejected the final offer that was advertised at the best offer they'd ever get, and one they'd never get again.

So now people complain that Israel is now hurting the Pales
by blocking aid. That happens in wars. It's best to not have them, if there's a real option. But people shouldn't complain that Israel's response is "to" much" or "asymmetrical." Let me know when Arab leaders call for defunding Hamas and suing for peace
