An Odd Place to be Found..

I recall traveling along the California coastline with my family at early breakfast time somewhere around Pt. Arena. We pulled off Pacific Coast Hwy and kind of found ourselves lost. (Okay, I was lost but naturally wouldn't admit it, it's a Guy thing)..

So anyway, we find ourselves at this old well worn saloon/cafe right on the coast. We walk in to find drunk fisherman, battle scarred waitresses, loud, boisterous and damn happy people like you couldn't believe for this early in the morning. The kids were pretty young then but a look from my wife and we had a visual uneasy agreement that we were going to stay.

Damn that was a great morning, great food and great conversation..

.... but one very odd place to find in our travels...
