How do you define middle class?t's amazing. All the Democrats had to do to have a real chance in the midterms is "not be crazy", and they seem incapable of doing that.

What you want to do to satisfy and honor the memory of your Lord Marx, is over the next four months brainwash the working class into hating the middle and upper classes. Run your candidates on the Revolutionary ticket and splurge for lots and lots of Cuban cigars. You're going to need them post Revolutionary victory to burn in your sinks and fireplaces after state run utilities go broke.

Ironic, isn't it? Not only does voting Democrat not change that at all, its kind of amazing what power a dollar an hour can have. I imagine that most of these people would not be too impressed with a dollar an hour raise from their employers, insomuch as what they are willing to put up with in return.Tell taxpayers that are keeping $2000-$3000 a year more on their earnings that they are getting screwed. That will work out very well.
But, contextualize it as a "gift from dear leader", and suddenly that dollar looms large...
I am actually for raising taxes on everyone, and decreasing government spending, I also realize no one would win on that platform, politicians do what is popular and are not about long term solutions.

It seems to work out well for politicians, they just keep promising and they get votes. Look at the campaign cycles for the last 30 years, the best promiser gets the votes.
