Well the left treated him like they do Trump...everything he ever did was bad......Which wasn't true.
I think Trump is unifying, he wants to get stuff done and he doesn't break people into groups...he mocks the left with his blacks for Trump signs, but in his daily business he proposes legislative items and doesn't pit groups against one another. The closest thing would be the NFL, but even there, he' right, don't put politics into sports. Do after the game or on your own time. I cant just tell my boss what I'm gonna do without consequence and neither should athletes.

See the problem is he did do the 86 Amnesty.....but the issue got worse. He wouldn't do that now. He was not stupid. New Zealand has an Ocean protecting it, we don't we need a wall. I actually had the same thought this morning. No matter one's view of Reagan and his policies, he'd never have put children in cages for the stated purpose of encouraging parents to not bring them here, even illegally.

And America is not a shithole. I recall that a few years after the Berlin Wall came down, I met a woman judge from the Czech Republic, still Czechoslovakia then, and seeing Jackson Miss she rethought her objections to the socialism, but not individual rights.

I don't know about that. Refugee status is something we waffle about. Stephen Miller was given refugee status as a Jew from e. Europe. No doubt his family suffered discrimination. Reagan's track record on paramilitary killings was not stellar. And is a woman from Hoduras or someplace whose husband's been killed by a gang, and whose child will be killed unless he joins a gang a refugee? Ole Jeff Sessions says NYET.
