They don't match up. If that was Stevens they drug out of that building, his clothing was intact and his belt closed. The best way to limit the strength of extremists in any country, any religion, including our own, is to highlight the moderates, amplify their voices, and marginalize the extremists, depriving them of the media distortion of their numbers, their strength, and the implied solidarity with their countrymen. In this, the truth is on our side.

Actually, you have that wrong, as usual. The best way to deal with extremists is to have a radical reaction from their opposites inside the religion. That is how Christianity dealt with the extremists who preached the crusades, people like Martin Luther stood up and denounced those that distorted the teachings of Jesus. That is not going to happen by you pretending that everything is hunky dory, that will only happen when Muslims stand up, and die, for the religion of peace. Until that happens, Islam will remain a religion of war.

What kind of anti-American scum would believe such a source? Lebanon News (Tayar.org)

Eh? You don't trust Arab news sources? Why not? I guess only when they have something to say that you like then you claim it's validity. By the way, it has been confirmed by sources in the US as well.

Tayyar.org is owned by the Free Patriotic Movement, a political party in Lebanon made up of predominantly Christian members. Its primary leader is Michel Aoun. It currently has a Memorandum of Understanding with Hezbollah and is league with them and the Progressive Socialists. It is interesting that this group might have ties with the Coptic Christians in Egypt--which is where funding as well as the director and primary disseminator of "Innocense of Muslims" came from.

Greetings, Concerning your query on the report published by a Lebanese website according to which ambassador Stevens was sodomized. That report falsely quoted our news agency and has no truth whatsover to it. AFP promptly sent a strongly worded complaint to that website and they removed the report and published a denial, saying that AFP did not report such a thing.
