Went with the wife to see Amazing Grace last night.

Excellent film, showing the emotional trauma involved in William Wilburforce's efforts to outlaw the slave trade throughout the British Empire.

Some good performances from folks we don't typically see on US screens including Ioan Gruffudd as Wilburforce, Michael Gambon as Lord Charles Fox and Albert Finney as John Newton.

For anyone into historical films with a bit of a "redemption" edge, this is an entertaining show.
