KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 6 (Bernama) -- Harley Owners Group (HOG) - Malaysian Chapter teamed up with the Pink Challengers, Malaysia's first Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boat Team to spread the breast cancer awareness message at an event here today.
With over 70 bikers, the event themed "Bums on Bikes for Breast Cancer", is aimed at raising awareness and educating the public about Male Breast Cancer.
The bikers were flagged off at Menara Hap Seng in Kuala Lumpur this morning by Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad group chief operating officer Harald Behrend and are expected to end their journey at the Aeon Seremban 2 Shopping Centre in Seremban.
Pink Challenger's event manager, Barbara Delaney said, early detection saves lives and breast cancer does not discriminate, it affects both men and women from all walks of life.
Meanwhile, HOG rider Larry Yap, 40 said HOG was in full support about raising awareness in male breast cancer.
"I recently came across this information and I feel it is important for men to get themselves checked for breast cancer," he said.
