    Because the latest La Nina is only just starting to develop and is expected to be weak, forecasters at the NOAA Climate Prediction Center said it is too early to say how it will affect spring and summer weather.

    I bet there will be SOME kind of weather this spring and summer. I doubt if la Nina will make weather go away.

    Typically in La Nina years, hurricanes are stronger and more numerous, but O'Lenic said it's too early to say what overall effects the La Nina will have on the Atlantic hurricane season this year.

    Wow, are they sure that it wasn't around last year too?
