Yes, before production begins on any film or TV set involving firearms there is a MANDATORY safety briefing for cast and crew.
Additionally, every DAY, before the days filming begins there is ANOTHER safety brifing.
Standard policy for at least 40 years.
And guess what....Rule 1 is you don't point the gun at people.
