Making contributions to any collective entities that endorse candidates illegal defunds those collectives.
They either can’t legally use donations to fund races and if they do it illegally they risk their candidates becoming ineligible by way or criminal activities.
Either way, the powers of the parties, which come down to money, is severely diminished.
