Abolish both parties and start afresh

If it were up to me a political party should be chartered, like a corporation, for a finite and nonrenewable period of twenty years. Once that term is up, you're history. Whether you've accomplished your goals or not.

After about that much time any ideology that purportedly birthed the party goes by the wayside and its entire purpose becomes self-perpetuation. Acquiring power for its own sake.

Agreed. Neither the Demobacans or the Replicrats represent US. Both are elitists and wealthy. For instance: They both want to subvert American laws, Please. The wealthy wants to create a new underclass of poor poor illegal aliens, subverting the lower class American workers. A new class of worker that can be exploited unlike we American workers that fought for unions and workers rights...let alone all those homeless jobless Americans, they are just faceless trash...disposable. We NEED Mexican workers. Keep telling yourself that.

Abolish the concept of parties.
How?

Make contributions to collective political entities illegal. Contributions to individual candidates only.

Defund party politics.
They'll still form parties, they just won't call them parties. Or they'll do it in secrecy. You can't stop them from working together to achieve their objectives.

Which. Is why I said political entities, not parties.

Making contributions to any collective entities that endorse candidates illegal defunds those collectives.

They either can’t legally use donations to fund races and if they do it illegally they risk their candidates becoming ineligible by way or criminal activities.

Either way, the powers of the parties, which come down to money, is severely diminished.

Government can’t ‘abolish’ political parties but there’s nothing stopping private citizens from refusing to support both major parties and refusing to vote for their candidates.

The two major parties are a problem the people alone created, and only the people can solve that problem they created.

Party politics aren't about money. That's a side effect.

Party politics is about every major party candidate walking into every election with a guaranteed voter base of 20-35%, just because of the letter after their name.

Of course, there are 50 Republican Parties and 50 Democratic Parties – both major parties exist at the state level, control state governments, which in turn write state elections laws – the dismantling of the two major parties would have to be done at the very local level; indeed, any significant political change would need to happen at the very local level, not top down.

Can't do it without violating Constitutional rights.
