But for those who don't have an interest in reading a book let's look at other simple evidence to corroborate the findings . Liberals are now proudly calling themselves socialists after socialism slowly starved to death 120 million human souls in Red China and USSR. Why on earth would they call themselves, "socialist"? Would you name a new car you want to sell, Edsel? Would you name your child Adolf if you loved the name? If you were DuPont selling paint would you stop using the "cover the earth" logo they used for decades before environmentalism caught on? If you sold the diet aid called AIDS, would you continue to call it AIDS as the disease AIDS was killing millions? So why do liberals call themselves socialists? I can offer 3 possible explanations:
1) they have a tin ear, so to speak
2) they don't know history
3) they believe that "real" liberal socialism will work rather than kill millions; so it is irreverently related to old socialism in name only. This makes one wonder whether our liberals would give up at 200 million dead. After all 120 ought to be sufficient-right?
