For most of us, merging the twin interests of travel and writing seems like a dream job, whether it is the budding author or the seasoned traveller. In fact, this is a fairly discussed-about topic.

There're countless of travel writing courses offer to teach travel writing … one word of caution is that most of these courses at worst, are a waste of money and time, and at best offer only some superficial information.Travel writing is something anyone can do --- once they’ve set their mind on the job, put the pen on the paper and or in this age, and their fingers on the keyboard!

Being a travel writer opens up new windows of opportunities. Once a travel guide is displayed on a good site, potential travelers can know more about a particular hometown and country. There are many people who love to travel and also wish to buy travel guides since they recognize the value & authenticity of well-written travel guides.

Travel writing is a hobby and a profession that help to enrich the travel experiences of backpackers and sightseers, while helping the travel writer earn some money for the time and effort invested.Sites like Gumtree.com and Boots n All promote these writing-related jobs. There are many other sites that help start a writers’ career such as LocalVibeGuide and GuideGecko travel bookstore that reward a writer for their efforts through their online platform.
