That Barack Obama is a smart man is not contestable. Super-intelligent, articulate and self-assured, America's first black president is every bit the erudite statesman acclaimed worldwide.
He has never released his grades so we really don't know. We do know that he is very articulate when he reads from his teleprompters. What's intriguing and not related to the article is that employment has been hovering around 10 percent for about a year now and this is not even phasing him. Most presidents would be freaked out about this.

The point is many on the right feel he has not done a good job, and is not a Great statesmen. More of a childish whinny jerk.
That first paragraph is pure partisanship.

You are basing this on what? He gets along well with other world leaders. Bush on the other hand was basically loathed. He gave Angela Merkle a backrub during a meeting of heads of state. He wore a cowboy hat and boots. He disrespected Tony Blair on a live mike. Gosh..he was hated world wide. Even by people who normally like America. In Thailand I saw a t-shirt that had him and Osama Bin Laden listed as the "Twin Terrors".
The "world" gave Obama a Nobel Prize and he's basically loved. The "world" gave Bush the finger. (Although in some parts of Africa he was loved for his efforts on AIDS, and in the Balkans..but heck..that was because of Clinton).
So really..what do you base this whole "statesmen" thing on?

lol he gets along well with them eh. is that all it takes to be a great statesmen really?
Read the article man. It is peppered with partisan assessments of the man. It is a piece designed to defend him.
So I found it funny the Guy who posted it thought he would call it a NON partisan look at Obama.

If anything, he's repaired many of the alliances Bush fractured. I was in Istanbul, shortly after the invasion. Turks absolutely loathed Bush. They loved Americans..however. And this is from one of the most solid allies of America..for pete's sake. That and the whole "freedom fries" debacle. An insult to another solid ally. That may have been none of Bush doing..but he sure has heck alienated the French.

Yeppers..Harvard and Columbia are known for graduating just about everyone. In fact..recently there was an investigation into allegations they just gave away diplomas like pancakes to people that just showed up!
Sure 'nuff.
How conveniently you hacks this miss part of the post, and many others, too..hardly a ringing endorsement
Obama and his closest advisers appear to have badly misjudged the American people,
Of course the stimulus did not staunch the economic wound (whatever that means), tax cuts have not been pulling small enterprises out of the mire (they aren't hiring, ought to be a hint), and Obamacare has already been shown to increase health care costs, which is why over 60% of the American people want to see it gone. Obama was the socialists' wet dream. He succeeded in everything he wanted and thereby failed miserably. They can't understand that. Any more than the writer can understand the Tea Party movement.Meantime, and by Obama's own admission, his administration has failed to convince Americans of its achievements: that the $US800 billion stimulus did staunch the economic wound, slowly turning job losses into gains; that tax cuts have been pulling small enterprises out of the mire; that Obamacare will ultimately cap rising health costs; that Wall Street reforms should lessen the risk of a repeat of 2008's financial meltdown.

First off, you would have to know what a statesmen is before you embarrass yourself.
Second, what job has he done that wasn't good? Surely, you can rattle them all off for us.
Me thinks you have entered the realm of bullshit, the deep sticky, the green road apple,...if you get my drift.
