My guess is they float this out with the hopes of someone else willing to publicly come forward. They know all they need is a face making an accusation. We should have seen this coming after the Roy Moore fiasco, only differences is Moore was creepy odd. The Republicans on the SCOTUS should be concerned over this because I have no doubt democrats will pull the same thing in attempts to try and have any one of them removed.
