    Fred H. "Dugg" Collins, 67, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011. Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.


    Dugg was a legendary broadcaster and swing music man. Wonderful talent that will definitely be missed. Mainstay Texas Panhandle radio broadcaster, program director, and broadcasting hall of famer.

    • 2002 "SONG OF THE YEAR" FROM THE ACADEMY OF WESTERN ARTISTS

    If you never heard of him or even if you did, check his site... What he wrote just two weeks ago on it will tear you right up... He died exactly one year and one day after his beloved wife...
