No, Canada doesn't have our constitution.

Funny, I've heard that song million times and didn't even know the word was in it.

    Me neither.

Butt while I have no problem with censoring certain music that contains obscene profanity, rape, and shooting neighbors, this is over the top. I believe the FCC has a lot of power not granted in the Constitution. It wouldn't surprise me if they have a list of other "profane" words under consideration. Including "faggot"

You should have read Jillian's thread last week...the FCC has less power now to regulate profanity than it did two weeks ago.

Of course the Canadian govertnment completely misses their point, too, didn't it?

    That doesn't surprise me.

PC types tend to not be very bright.

They're like children who need rules because they don't understand their world.

Above my pay grade and level of expertise. However, at school we debate this quite often. A student will get a stricter punishment for saying "Fuck you" as opposed to saying "Fuck me". "Ah hell" - ok "Go to Hell" - not so much.

I trust those who specialize in ranking profanity to make those tough decisions. To me: "faggot - ok" "Pop a faggot" - not.

This is my favorite version of this song:
