It is a very sorrowful thing to lose a pet because they are such loyal, loving companions. They make wonderful memories. I had one cat named Toby that I lost him to aids and he was like no other cat I've ever had. Toby was the King of cats. When I hear of someone losing their pet I always think of Toby. I could not even cry when Toby died. I was totally numb. I remember someone saying to me you lose your family and you're still standing strong. You lose your cat and you are suddenly lost. I don't understand you. I wanted to choke that guy. Toby was there for me when no one else was left. Some people do not understand the meaning of relationships. Animals are very loyal companions. They say more not talking and just being there with you than humans who yack on and on about nothing.

I'm very sorry, Joe. You are in my thoughts tonight.
