The issue is, the old white uneducated are shrinking in number and doesn't reflect America's future

Sharp Differences by Race, Gender, Generation, Education

Democrats hold advantages in party identification among blacks, Asians, Hispanics, well-educated adults and Millennials. Republicans have leads among whites – particularly white men, those with less education and evangelical Protestants – as well as members of the Silent Generation.

This was from 2015 now with dumph the nominee the numbers swing more negative for him with educated whites and he gets a lot worse with minorities across the board

As I pointed out to one of Hillary's trolls the other day, the thing about the "old white men" narrative is that old white men have a lot of money to spend and the hispanic community has a history of being able to be swayed by campaign advertising, especially negative ads, that get them voting for old white conservative men instead of people who look like them. It is why the blacks always get clowned by the DNC. They aren't going anywhere.

I'll take these from the top down.

First the Mormons. Their history is anti-slavery and their experience with Pres. Van Buren and Buchanan was not good. These two DEM presidents did nothing to help the Mormons, and Buchanan actually launched Gen. A.S. Johnston (later killed by Grant at Vicksburg/Shiloh) against them in the insurrection called the Utah War.

Most Mormon politicians have been GOP. Sen. Orrin Hatch is currently the Pres. Pro Tem of the Senate and the #4 guy in line of the Presidency after BHO, Biden, and Ryan.

Mormons are very John Birch Society and were very pro Barry Goldwater.

So this is simply a legacy issue of brainwashing.

White Evangelical Protestants are beguiled by the GOP due to lip service to anti abortion.

Their Theist pseudo Christian doctrine stretches the Jewish commandment "thou shalt not murder" to abortion as well, even though abortion is never mentioned in the Bible. The Catholic Church is guilty of the same farce, only Catholics tend to vote DEM instead. Nancy Pelosi is the premier Catholic in the Federal Government, and now Kaine the VP nominee is Catholic as well. Hillary is Protestant but not Evangelical.

White Southerners are the same as Ev. Prot.

White non college grads was best described by Nancy Pelosi recently on PBS News Hour during the DNC Convention. She points out that these idiots vote against their own economic interest. These are mostly Trump's tv audience. They are not very good at spotting a con man.

The silent generation goes back to Ike. These folks are very old now.

They remember Ike won the war.

That's all they remember.

Blacks, Asians, and Latinos are served by the DEM's economic policies of less taxation on the poor and middle class. Unlike the non college grad white men, they are not stupid.

Jews have been pro DEM ever since Harry Truman supported Israel in the UN since 1948.

Even though some of these folks are very rich, they do not sell out to the GOP's more tax cuts for the rich.

They pay their fair share of tax.

it comes from Pew , it is the numbers of the demographic shift

The Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan American think tank which is based in Washington, D.C. It provides information on social issues, public opinion, and demographic trends shaping the United States and the world. It also conducts public opinion polling, demographic research, media content analysis, and other empirical social science research. Pew Research Center does not take explicit policy positions, and is a subsidiary of The Pew Charitable Trusts

the post numbers , facts

The millennials want free college. Bernie has now promised it to them and they want it now.

They want all the free stuff they can get.

Smaller government makes no sense to them.

They want bigger government and more of it.

So everything on the chart regarding how the demographic groups lead makes perfect sense.

Trump made this worse for himself by insulting women and Latinos.

And he has somehow even managed to chase away the college grad white males too.

Even in the most barbaric ages when history was repeated by word of mouth because there was no written language, no one could have envisioned sucking unborn babies out of the womb because they weren't "conviennent". Only a truly sick bastard could claim that it was a "stretch" to say killing an unborn baby is murder.

This post is an example of the utter insanity in whatever orifice constitutes a libturd "mind".

And the OP's point is well taken. The future is bleak for the Trumpsters. Their kind is thinning every day due to old age and alcohol. Those with education, both young and old, reject the nihilism that Trump represents. Even the young Republicans at Harvard cannot stand what Trump represents.

‘Ashamed’ of Trump, Harvard Republican Club won’t endorse top GOP nominee for first time since 1888

Here’s the Harvard Republican Club’s statement:

Dear Members and Alumni,

In every presidential election since 1888, the members and Executive Board of the Harvard Republican Club have gathered to discuss, debate, and eventually endorse the standard-bearer of our party. But for the first time in 128 years, we, the oldest College Republicans chapter in the nation, will not be endorsing the Republican nominee.

Donald Trump holds views that are antithetical to our values not only as Republicans, but as Americans. The rhetoric he espouses –from racist slander to misogynistic taunts– is not consistent with our conservative principles, and his repeated mocking of the disabled and belittling of the sacrifices made by prisoners of war, Gold Star families, and Purple Heart recipients is not only bad politics, but absurdly cruel.
..................................................................................................................
Perhaps most importantly, however, Donald Trump simply does not possess the temperament and character necessary to lead the United States through an increasingly perilous world. The last week should have made obvious to all what has been obvious to most for more than a year. In response to any slight –perceived or real– Donald Trump lashes out viciously and irresponsibly. In Trump’s eyes, disagreement with his actions or his policies warrants incessant name calling and derision: stupid, lying, fat, ugly, weak, failing, idiot –and that’s just his “fellow” Republicans.

He isn’t eschewing political correctness. He is eschewing basic human decency.

Much more in the article, but these young men and women state succinctly what the majority of Americans are now thinking concerning Trump and those that support him.
