69 years ago today, on May 7, 1945, Nazi Germany surrendered to end the European part of World War 2.

The surrender document was signed in Rhiems, France on May 7. The next day, another set was signed in Berlin, Germany.

Bush was WWI and the Great Depression. Obama was WWII.

Happy Birthday to the MIC, founded by greedy industrialists and paranoid generals, built by Nazi scientists, fueled by paranoia and still protecting the world from democracy.

Since the passage of pretty much every republican idea for health-care reform under the unlikely banner of "Obama-care", MIC now also stands for 'Medical Industrial Complex'.

If nothing else, Americans learn when they see Monkeys making money!

 Because of the paranoid generals?

Every American weapons system of the cold war was developed because the Russians may have it in the future, of course they did have it in the future after they stole it (or bought it from turncoats) prompting yet more development of weaponry. That kind of madness can only be the product of paranoia.

it's not about paranoia, it's about making BIG money, for a few people, at the expense of everyone else and the sickening part of it is nobody gets gutshot for doing it.

That has been the ultimate purpose for warfare for millennia, the only difference is that war finally progressed to the ultimate level of lethality.
