52 former black franchise owners sue Mcdonalds and loose

Years ago I lived in Omaha for a while. Omaha is a city without as much crime as seen in many larger cities, but had a fairly good sized "hood". There was a Safeway grocery story in the hood. It had a bit of a theft problem, but not bad enough to close it. Then, during a period of rioting it was looted and burned to the ground. Later, when they announced they were not going to rebuild and reopen because of lack of safety for their employees they were called racist. They are not the only business to have such an experience.
