Sin City
I'm posting this from our local newspaper for those who are coming to visit Sin City. I'm not always a fan of buffets but do visit some. The one I usual go to is at Boulder Station. As I'm trying to go lo-carb, these are pretty good – if you don't eat too much. Cannot tell you how many time I seem people so obese they can barely walk carrying three of four plates filled to overflowing. Then going back for more!

They also didn't list Golden Corral with has awesome steaks and deviled eggs.

The Rio was, at one time, the best in town but I've haven't been there for a while and don't know.

And then comes this opinion piece - What makes a buffet the best?

As most buffets are cookie-cutter operations, a "best buffet" has to be one where the cooks go out of the way to prepare different and delicious foods. I mean, just how many ways can you cook eggs? Or roast beef? You won't get one of those on the cheap.

However, one not mentioned is Golden Corral. It is, after all, a buffet. The cooked-to-order steaks are nice and I love the deviled eggs on the excellent salad bar.

I saw a roach crawling on the buffet table at Monte Carlo many years ago. Didn't go back to a buffet for a decade. Next time back at Mandalay Bay, my brother sees a roach crawl off a worker and into some pasta. I'm done with Vegas buffets.
