US tax brackets will rise by around 5.4 percent next year in line with inflation, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has confirmed.
From 2024, the lowest tax rate of 10 percent will apply to those earning up to $11,600, up from $11,000 this year.
Meanwhile the highest rate of 37 percent will now apply to workers whose salaries exceed $609,350, up from $578,125 in 2023. Middle-income thresholds all saw similar rises.

The Politicians don't care how much they spend because they can always raise taxes some more.

One of the failings of Constitutional Republic is that we allow those shitheads in Congress to raise our taxes so easily.

We should have it so that no budget, debt or taxation can pass without a 80% nation wide margin vote of the people.
We are spending at 120% of our GDP.

Those who are educated are not the problem, it’s this who think the government is going to give them free shit that’s the problem. Voting for an incumbent in 2024 should be considered treason

Voting for the duopoly in 2024 should be considered treason

It’s still a tax increase no need to lie about it.

No, adjusting the brackets is not a tax increase.

From 2024, the lowest tax rate of 10 percent will apply to those earning up to $11,600, up from $11,000 this year.

If inflation was 5.4% last year and you got a 5.4% raise, your "real income" is unchanged.
By raising the brackets 5.4%, your "real income tax" is also unchanged.
